Paramount Pictures started off their presentation with a visual telling, narrated by Tom Cruise, of their beginning and the journey they have taken through film.They announced that every film with a theatrical release will have a minimum of 45 day window in the theaters. With 15 films being released this year. Look forward to more films with the merger between Paramount and Warner Bros.
Sonic The Hedgehog 4 will continue their franchise with another installment in March 2027. The movie will have the original cast and some new additions. All of what you would expect for a Sonic movie, will be part of this one.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be back again, along with A Quiet Place Part III. This film will preserve the original themes of hope and family, and push it even further. Out sometime next year.
Call of Duty, directed by Pete Berg, will finally have its theatrical debut. The game’s action will be captured on the big screen June 30, 2028.
James Cameron and Billie Eilish strolled on to the CinemaCon stage to present their new film Hit me Hard and Soft: The Tour Live in 3D. The concert experience will be reinvented on screen and allow all of the fans to be part of what Eilish can do. Cameron has developed new 3D cameras that work to make you feel like you are right next to her on stage and be part of the audience. The audience was privy to experiencing the amazing visuals that will transport all of us into the concert venue. Experience this on May 8.
Scary Movie’s stars walked onto the stage to discuss the next part of their franchise. This will be an R-rated comedy. “Maybe all we need is a good laugh,” said Farris. The stars warned the audience that this will poke fun at everyone. In this movie, “Nobody is safe,” said Wayans. The trailer brought all the laughs. Definitely something we can all use. Coming this summer.
Johnny Knoxville was on hand to show us a little bit of Jackass: Best and Last. Knoxville said it will be their last film. It will be even bigger and more extreme than before and will hit theaters June 26.
Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie will have our pups trying to save themselves on a new island. Along the way, they make some larger than life friends. In theaters August 14.
Angry Birds 3 the movie will also continue to bring families to the theaters in December 2026.
Bring your quarters because Street Fighter is bringing their fights to your nearest big screen after three decades as a video game. UFC’s Bruce Buffer introduced all of the Street Fighter actors to the stage as our beloved game characters. The world premier of the movie showed us the characters in action. And action it has, along with amazing stunts, that bring the video game moves to life. Coming this October 16.
Phil Simms, from the NY Giants, came on to stage to introduce Mr.Irrelevant: The John Tuggle Story. It is based on the true story of the player who was not even expected to make the roster. He did, and his story of perseverance lives on. Playing Tuggle, David Corenswet introduced the first look via video. The movie shows the impact you have on the people around you and will tug at your heartstrings this Christmas.
Heart of the Beast Is a gripping, edge of your seat story, where man must survive nature. It will star Brad Pitt. A man and his beloved combat dog must fight to survive in the wilderness, facing roaring rivers and dangerous animals. Surviving with man’s best friend might be the only way to do it. Coming soon.
K-Pop Superstar: The Movie will be a live action look at the competition to be the next K-Pop superstar. Audiences will go on the journey with a young Korean-American woman who defies her families’ wishes, to be what she has always wanted to be. The film will feature Ji-young Yoo. In theaters February 12, 2027.
A classic Christmas tale will be brought back to the big screen. Johnny Depp will play Scrooge in Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol. Depp does a great job transforming into the character. The film is a new take on a classic tale. The teaser shows the talent that Depp has at bringing a classic character to life for new audiences. In theaters this Thanksgiving.
Children of Blood and Bone is based on the best selling fantasy book. It will tell a story that will move people. With a dynamic cast including Viola Davis, Cythia Erivo and many other talented actors, the movie will bring to life a story of magic, spiritual strength, and pride. It will grace screens on January 15, 2027. .
They rounded out their movie slate by announcing another Top Gun movie, Possession, Long Legs, and Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, Get Lite, from Teyana Taylor, and The Naughty List.
