Welcoming us into the theater were scenes from nostalgic movies we have come to love. Warner Bros. Pictures joined the CinemaCon stage for their movie presentation, ‘The Big Picture’, presenting films for the upcoming year and beyond. Patton Oswalt welcomed the new slate with some iconic showgirls and a touch of humor about the movie going experience.
The past year’s films were praised and highlighted for their award winning runs, including 11 Oscars.

Tom Cruise was on hand at CinemaCon once again to promote his new film, Digger, with director Alejandro G. Inarritu. In the shown teaser, an almost unrecognizable Cruise plays Digger Rockwell, who gets into a mess and needed to get out of it. It’s a comedic take on a catastrophe. Tom Cruise said, “It was inspiring working with him (Inarritu). This kind of movie is why I wanted to make movies.” The movie is rounded out with a stellar cast. Inarritu is still working on the film, but we got to see pieces of it. Digger, hits theaters October 2026.
The End of Oak Street with Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor tells a story about how one family’s house had moved and they are faced with the challenges of keeping it all together. What is happening outside…dinosaurs? Or at least that’s what they have shown us so far. In theaters August 14.
Warner Bros. gave us a look at the thrillers and horror that will be part of their lineup.
Evil Dead Burn will be out July 10. They gave the CinemaCon audience an early look at a rough trailer that’s not quite ready for theatrical release. The movie features a new family that may seem perfect, but isn’t so perfect. Be prepared for the blood and guts and jump scares that you would expect.

Mortal Kombat II’s trailer continues the Earthrealm’s champions story with Johnny Cage. They are up against Shao Kahn and some new rivals. “It’s showtime!” May 28, 2026.
You gotta love a giveaway! Thing 1 and 2 wigs! The audience fit right in with The Cat in the Hat’s new trailer. Kids are hard to impress both in real ife and in this movie. Cue the Cat in the Hat and his adventures. Bill Hader voices The Cat in a seussical family friendly adventure in November.
Warner Bros. is continuing their comic adventures with Man of Tomorrow, starting to roll cameras this week. Then, Clayface will be a riveting horror film that will hit theaters November 23. CinemaCon audiences were given a look at the word premier teaser that includes some glimpses of his journey.

An alien DJ kicked off the Supergirl intro with stars Milly Alcock and Jason Momoa. “This journey has been extremely transformative for me,” said Alcock, Momoa shared his excitement about playing Lobo. He said about the franchise and his character, “It was the comic I collected.” Nearly all of the movie takes place off planet, unlike Superman. Supergirl is flawed and complex hero who goes on a journey to be who she needs to be. We saw this in the short sequence that was presented. It showed that she is more than what people assume her to be. Supergirl speeds into theaters June 26, 2026.
Practical Magic 2 was introduced by Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman themselves. The actresses mentioned that it felt like they got to come home instead of just shooting a sequel. “We got to go back home because they rebuilt the house,” said Bullock. That seems to have brought magic to the movie. “We come to this place for magic,” joked Kidman. Channing and Wiest are part of the cast once again where they must all deal with the past that is catching up with them. There will be laughs, tears. and magic. The teaser drummed up all of the nostalgia of the original. The movie will be out September 11, 2026.
JJ Abrams was on hand to show us The Great Beyond. Writer and director, Abrams combined human feeling with spectacle to make something unique. It’s a look at what lies beyond what we know. It stars Glenn Powell who plays a possible hero in the making. Jenna Ortega, Emma Mackey, and Samuel L. Jackson are also part of the cast. Abrams said of Jackson’s performance, ” You’ve never seen him play a part like this.” The Great Beyond will be in theaters November 13.

Dune Part Three marched onto the stage with its own army. Denis Villeneuve thanked movie theaters for showing the movie the way it is supposed to be shown on the screen. “This is a thriller, emotion packed and intense,” noted Villeneuve. Part 3 Three is set 17 years later. Paul is dealing with the consequences of his actions. Momoa, Zendaya, and Timothée Chalamet were brought on to the stage to talk about the film. Zendaya did what she does best, and dressed for the part. Her look reflected the mood of Dune Part Three. Zendaya, on her character’s storyline in this one, “It’s unrelenting for her. Her youthful outlook is gone.” Momoa added in an explanation of how his character is back for this installment. He explained that he is a regenerated character sent to Paul as a gift. This will have an impact on Paul and his destiny. The sweeping visuals and action sequences will add to the complexity of the film. Look for it December 18, 2026.

The film, Ti Amo will be released by Clockwork productions 2027 along with other pieces from the studio in 2027 and beyond. Minecraft 2, Remain from M. Night Shyamalan, Panic Carefully, Ocean’s (a story about Danny Ocean’s parents), Bad Fairies, Margie Claus, Shiver with Keanu Reeves, Evil Dead Rath. Godzilla Kong Supernova, and Lord of the Rings the Hunt for Gollum on December 17.
Other upcoming projects were quickly mentioned as well. Some of them are Baz Luhrmann’s Joan of Ark, Final Destination 7, Gladys (a prequel to weapons), Hello Kitty, an untitled Nancy Meyers film, Game of Thrones:Aegon’s Conquest, Gremlins, Untitled FAST film, Conjuring: First Communion, and Oh, The Places You’ll Go.
