The final presentation at CinemaCon 2025 was none other than Walt Disney Studios. This was a very popular studio presentation that seemed filled with anticipation. The studio even played to the crowd with a video presentation of some of their films, with a little alien addition, Stitch.
The energy in the room was electric, buzzing with fan anticipation and industry excitement as stars like Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan, Elle Fanning, Zoe Saldana, and Jared Leto hit the stage. The presentation balanced heartfelt nostalgia and cutting-edge spectacle, offering exclusive first looks at Fantastic Four: First Steps, Thunderbolts, Tron: Ares, and more. Whether it was the heartwarming charm of Lilo & Stitch, the eerie intrigue of Predator: Badlands, or the dazzling return to Pandora in Avatar: Fire and Ash, Disney made it clear—they’re here to dominate the box office in 2025.
Lilo & Stitch

I’m sure most people were already expecting another look at the upcoming live-action Lilo and Stitch movie busting into theaters on May 23. The extended look that audience members got added to the cuteness that was already seen in the previously released trailer. Fans of the original and new, soon-to-be fans should enjoy this movie.
Freakier Friday

Is it Friday yet? Sure felt like Friday night energy when Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan stepped onto the stage accompanied by tons of audience applause. The Freakier Friday footage introduced us to new characters and the premise that the two main characters will be switching with their teenage counterparts. Curtis mentioned that they “made the movie this year with love.” The film will play on the nostalgia of the original and add even more family fun to this comedy. Check it out on August 8, 2025.
Tron: Ares

The Tron: Ares announcement started with an amazing laser show. Jared Leto and Jeff Bridges were there to drop some new footage. “As a kid, I was obsessed with Tron,“ said Leto. He got to live out his obsession as a character in the new film. The footage showed that Leto’s character is on a mission to follow his directive where the digital world has crossed over into the real world, in this action-adventure. This movie looks visually stunning and must be seen in theaters with the accompanying music from NIN. Tron: Ares will hit your right in the grid on October 10, 2025.
Fantastic 4: First Steps

Fantastic 4: First Steps, the anticipated retake on the comic series, caused quite a shock with the exclusive look that the CinemaCon audience received. We were lucky enough to find out more about the circumstances surrounding our heroes. We were also very fortunate to get a glimpse of the Silver Surfer (played by Julia Garner). The crowd was excited about what we saw and what was to come. This movie was made for IMAX or other large screen versions, where you can catch it on July 25.
Predator Badlands

Predator Badlands was introduced by Elle Fanning, one of the stars of the upcoming movie. The movie clip and Fanning’s brief and spoiler-free comments will make us question, what if Predator is the good guy? The Predator might be hunting something, but we won’t know until we see this film on November 7, 2025. According to Fanning, the film has “so many surprises.” From the brief bit we saw, the movie looks pretty intriguing.
Deliver Me From Nowhere

Deliver Me From Nowhere, a Bruce Springsteen biographical musical drama, introduced by stars Jeremy Allen White and Jeremy Strong, will be coming to theaters this fall. This movie was made with Bruce Springsteen’s blessing and follows events that culminate with the creation of his 1982 album, Nebraska.
The Amateur

In theaters soon (April 11), The Amateur will have Rami Malek play a CIA agent who leaves his desk job and embarks on an action-packed journey to find the people who killed his wife. The trailer is out, and the movie will be out soon as well.
The Roses

The Roses, inspired by the film War of the Roses, will be in theaters on August 29. Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch will star in the film that sees how life changes affect a couple.
Ella McCay

Jamie Lee Curtis was back again, this time with Emma Mackey to present Ella McCay, in theaters September 19. The trailer delved into the life of a young politician and her struggles with her family as she readies herself to be the new governor. With a rounded out supporting cast, this movie and its cast will bring heart to this comedic drama.
Thunderbolts*

The Thunderbolts* cast, composed of David Harbour, Florence Pugh, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, made a boisterous entrance into the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Five of the main characters arrived via limousine to perform a little Vegas-themed skit to introduce an extended look at the new film, coming to theaters May 2. The movie has this ragtag group of “heroes” working together to do what superheroes do: save people. The action sequences looked great and will be even better on the big screen.

Elio

Disney Pixar’s Elio will join the summer box office race, June 20. Zoe Saldaña walked onto the stage to tell us a bit about the animated film. Elio is a boy who is struggling to fit in and is obsessed with aliens. The trailer, shown in Dolby 3D, played on Pixar’s animating strengths. The visuals are excellent and add to the otherworldly adventure that Elio will experience.
Zootopia 2

Zootopia 2, in theaters November 26, was introduced by its newest voice actor playing Gary (a snake), Ke Huy Quan. Nick Fox and Judy Hopps are back at it, solving crimes as a new partnership. In the clip shown, they seem to have some new partner drama that will need to be remedied before completing their duties. Disney animation is again at its finest with new characters and animation advances.
Avatar: Fire and Ash

Zoe Saldana was back again, this time to show us a little clip from a major franchise. Disney ended their presentation with Avatar: Fire and Ash. We were privileged to get a 3D sneak peek of the film, which will fly into movie theaters on December 19, 2025. The film follows the family from the other Avatar films with the addition of new creatures and cultures. The family must find a way to survive with the Ash people and the expanding human world. This film expands the beautiful worlds of Avatar and will be even more visually stunning in 3D.
