There’s just a week left until Wrestlemania 41, and the card seems all but set in stone, with one glaring omission: Alexa Bliss. The “goddess” returned to WWE as a surprise entrant in the 2025 Royal Rumble after a nearly two-year absence from the promotion. But even though Bliss got unquestionably the biggest pop of the night and participated in the 2025 Elimination Chamber, the five feet of fury has been missing in action on the road to Wrestlemania.
Alexa Bliss Is Healthy, Cleared, and Missing — What’s going on behind the scenes?
Bliss herself is wondering why she’s not part of the Mania card: she took to X in late March, posting a gif of herself shrugging (subtitled “why?”) with a single-emoji caption of a woman shrugging. Though vague, the tweet came in the wake of speculation as to why Bliss hasn’t been on TV since the Chamber, with some fans wondering if she’d simply opted out of the recent European Tour.
But WWE is safely back in the United States, and Little Miss Bliss is nowhere to be found — the last time she appeared on weekly TV was the February 28 Smackdown, giving a Sister Abigail DDT to Roxanne Perez. Bliss’s use of Sister Abigail would seem to indicate plans to integrate her with the Wyatt Sicks, but not a single member of the stable has been seen on TV since the group lost to the Final Testament and the Miz in a mixed tag match in December.
Stable leader Bo Dallas suffered an undisclosed injury, which presumably halted any plans WWE had to fold Bliss into the Wyatt Sicks, but Dallas has reportedly been cleared to wrestle since February. With both Bliss and Dallas healthy and apparently eager to wrestle, there seems to be no legitimate reason the Wyatt Sicks — or even just Alexa — aren’t on TV.
With just a week until the lights go up in Vegas, it seems unlikely (though never impossible) that Alexa Bliss has a match at Wrestlemania 41, despite being cleared to wrestle and an active member of the roster. It’s mystifying that WWE would head into their largest pay-per-view of the year without one of their biggest stars, especially given the reaction to her return. But with Roxanne Perez also decidedly lacking in Wrestlemania plans and their storyline still unresolved, there’s a chance the two may finally cross paths in some manner next week.
