In a move that has left the WWE Universe buzzing, Alexa Bliss has reportedly been withdrawn from WrestleMania 41, despite making a highly anticipated return to the company earlier this year. After a two-year hiatus, Bliss stormed back into action at Royal Rumble 2025, delivering one of the loudest pops of the night, and later competing in Elimination Chamber. Fans were eager to see her take center stage once again, but now, it seems WWE has pressed pause on her creative direction, leaving her WrestleMania status—and possibly her future—up in the air.

Reports from Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp suggest Bliss was originally penciled in for a tag team program leading into WrestleMania 41, but those plans have since been scrapped. While WWE has yet to comment officially, speculation is running rampant. Was it a creative decision? A scheduling issue? Or is something else at play? Some believe Bliss was set to feud with Liv Morgan, the top woman in the company right now—an opportunity that would be difficult for any Superstar to turn down.
Adding fuel to the fire, Bliss hasn’t competed in a WrestleMania match in front of a live crowd since WrestleMania 34. While she was part of WrestleMania 36 and made an appearance at WrestleMania 37, her absence from the marquee event in recent years has only amplified fan anticipation for a major comeback moment. Given her explosive return at Royal Rumble and the natural build toward a showdown with Morgan—who eliminated her in Elimination Chamber—her omission from the card is raising eyebrows.
However, there’s another possibility: injury. Alexa Bliss has a history of injuries that have kept her sidelined in the past, and some believe that physical concerns could be a factor in WWE’s decision to hold her out of action. If that’s the case, fans might have to wait a little longer to see her fully reintegrated into the WWE women’s division.
