The 2026 WWE women’s Royal Rumble had everything: drama, athleticism, and a friendship tested in the most brutal way possible. When the smoke cleared and the confetti fell, it was Monday Night Raw‘s Liv Morgan standing tall after last eliminating Tiffany Stratton to punch her ticket to WrestleMania. But the real story? Morgan had no problem throwing her own Judgment Day sister, Raquel Rodriguez, over the top rope to get there.
In the Royal Rumble post-show, a victorious (and notably unapologetic) Morgan addressed the elephant in the room: eliminating her tag team partner and faction mate. Sporting that signature confidence that’s carried her since returning from injury, Morgan insisted Rodriguez would understand her cutthroat decision.

“So I know Raquel Rodriguez better than anyone else on this planet, and if I know Raquel — Raquel, I think I know Raquel — she is not a selfish human being,” Morgan explained, her logic as twisted as only a heel champion’s can be. “She is the number one contender for the Women’s World Champion, and now I have an opportunity to win a championship as well. I’m sure she’s so happy for me, because a win for one in The Judgment Day is a win for all.”
When pressed about whether she’d actually spoken to Rodriguez since the elimination, Morgan admitted she hadn’t seen her partner yet, citing media obligations. “You know, I actually haven’t seen her yet because I’ve been whisked away doing all this media. So I have not seen her yet, but I know she’s so happy for me. That’s my sister,” she said with the kind of certainty that suggested she either genuinely believes it or is an Oscar-worthy performer.
Liv Morgan will challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania

Rodriguez has her own massive opportunity ahead: a Philadelphia Street Fight against Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship on the February 2nd episode of Monday Night Raw. Whether she’ll still consider Morgan her “sister” after being unceremoniously dumped from the Rumble remains to be seen.
Morgan’s Royal Rumble victory positions her to potentially main event WrestleMania, a career-defining moment she’s been chasing since hitting the ground running after recovering from injury. The question now isn’t whether Morgan can handle the spotlight, but whether The Judgment Day can handle Morgan’s ambition when championships are on the line.
One thing’s certain: in Liv Morgan’s world, sisterhood ends at the top rope.
