Taylor Swift’s live performance film, Taylor Swift Concert Movie for The Eras Tour, is slated to hit screens at AMC Theatres and Cinemark locations across the United States starting October 13.
Anticipating a massive turnout, AMC Theatres has pledged to offer at least four screenings daily from Thursday through Sunday at every U.S. location. Ticket prices are $19.89 for adults and $13.13 for children. To accommodate the expected surge in ticket sales, AMC has enhanced its server capabilities, preparing for a demand greater than five times its current one-hour sales record.

AMC Theatres, the film’s theatrical distributor, will also show the concert movie in Canada and Mexico. The company is prepared for potential challenges, including system outages, noting past incidents where ticket sales platforms have been overwhelmed by the high demand from Taylor Swift fans.
“In the history of ticketing systems, none have successfully met the overwhelming demand when Taylor Swift tickets first go on sale. Customers eager to secure their seats when sales open may encounter delays, extended wait times in ticket-buying queues, and even temporary system failures. AMC is dedicated to resolving any such issues as swiftly as possible,” the theater chain stated.

Cinemark has also announced plans to feature Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour in all its U.S. locations, starting October 13 and continuing through weekends until November 5. Similarly, Regal Cinemas will be screening the concert film in its American theaters. In Canada, the film will be shown nationwide in approximately 150 Cineplex cinemas, starting on the same date.
The Eras Tour has captured the public’s imagination, setting new benchmarks for ticket demand, audience attendance, and concert tour revenue. Featuring a 44-song setlist that spans the multiple albums and phases of Swift’s career, the tour has achieved cultural phenomenon status.
