Celebrity makeup artist Jenna Kristina was responsible for Fox’s makeup that night. Kristina previously worked with FX for her iconic SI Swimsuit issue appearance. Kristina shared her vision for the look: “Our goal was to harmonize her soft baby pink dress with a sultry makeup style. The essence of sultriness, in my view, lies in the eyes, where I aimed to create a smokey, alluring effect.”
She described her technique, which included using Colourpop Shadow Stix in So Celestial for eye lining, skillfully smudged for a softer edge. The Colourpop Golden Hour Eyeshadow Palette played a key role, with shades like Love the Vibes and “Never Leaving” applied in the crease and under the eyes to add depth. The shade Golden Waves was used on the center of the eyelid to introduce a sparkle, while No Rest For The Vivid Jelly Much Shadow added a pop of pink in the inner corners.
Kristina didn’t stop at the eyes. She reflected on the need to express her inner thoughts through poetry, emphasizing that the contents were drawn from real-life experiences, though not meant to be an exposé or memoir. Fox candidly shared her past encounters with physical and psychological abuse in relationships, including some with well-known individuals, though she did not disclose specific details about these experiences.
