Horror fans, get ready for another round of animatronic terror. During BlumFest 2025, it was revealed that Megan Fox has joined the cast of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 as the voice of Toy Chica. The highly anticipated sequel to the 2023 box office hit will creep into theaters on December 5, 2025.

The announcement was met with immediate buzz online, with fans speculating about how Megan Fox’s voice will bring the mischievous, sinister Toy Chica to life. She’s joined by fellow new cast members MatPat, who will voice Toy Bonnie, and Kellen Goff as Toy Freddy. Returning to helm the film is Emma Tammi, who directed the original adaptation of the wildly popular horror game. Josh Hutcherson reprises his role as Mike Schmidt, with Matthew Lillard, Elizabeth Lail, and Piper Rubio also set to return.
The first film followed Hutcherson’s Mike, a down-on-his-luck security guard who discovers the horrifying secrets behind Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. By night, the once-cheerful animatronic mascots come to life with deadly intentions. The studio hasn’t revealed exactly which of these mechanical nightmares will return for the follow-up, but it did tease the ominous new tagline: “Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second chances.”
Five Nights at Freddy’s was a monster success in 2023, pulling in $297 million worldwide despite premiering simultaneously on Peacock. The film quickly became Blumhouse Productions’s highest-grossing release, proving the enduring power of the franchise’s creepy lore and devoted fanbase.
For Fox, the role continues a recent run of genre projects. She recently starred opposite Michele Morrone in the erotic thriller Subservience and appeared in Amazon’s comedy series Overcompensating. Her recent filmography also includes the dark comedy Till Death, the vampire romp Night Teeth, Big Gold Brick, and The Expendables 4.
With a December release date set and a fan-favorite character like Toy Chica entering the mix, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about horror sequels of the year. Between Fox’s star power and the franchise’s proven box office muscle, Freddy and friends may be ready to claim another holiday season.
