It’s finally Tiffy time. It’s been barely three short years since Tiffany Stratton first debuted on NXT in December of 2021 with a purse, a “daddy’s little rich girl” theme song, and an impressive gymnastics background, but now you can call her your new WWE Women’s Champion.
Though her brief yet impactful tenure in WWE already included a stint as NXT Women’s Champion and, of course, as Miss Money in the Bank, Stratton checked another major first off the list by successfully cashing in her Money in the Bank Contract on Nia Jax. One “Prettiest Moonsault Ever” later, and the former competitive gymnast can add her first main roster singles championship to her ever-growing list of accolades.

Tiffany’s pretty-in-pink cash-in continues the impressive 100% success rate of the Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase: Stratton joins Carmella, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Nikki A.S.H., and IYO SKY among the women who have nabbed a title via cash-in. Since she snatched the case back at Money in the Bank in July, WWE has made no small effort telegraphing that Stratton would cash in on WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax, with whom Tiffany has been shakily aligned on Friday Night Smackdown.

After months of mistreatment and insults from Nia Jax, the arrival of Candice LeRae as Jax’s new second-in-command seemingly pushed Stratton over the edge, and she finally pulled the trigger on a proper attempt at a cash-in after teasing audiences with half a dozen mid-match run-ins. With her simple yet effective gimmick and undeniable athleticism, Stratton has been a no-brainer for a Money in the Bank briefcase holder since her arrival on the main roster, but now that she’s got her hands on the gold, what’s next for Tiffy?
The Heel Turn: And New: Tiffany Stratton is WWE Women’s Champion
Stratton has no shortage of potential challengers: Jax and LeRae would seemingly be first and second in line for shots at her title, with the likes of Bianca Belair, Naomi, Bayley, and Piper Niven all waiting in the wings as prime candidates for title defenses. If Chelsea Green ever gets machinations of becoming Chelsea Two Belts, a Stratton vs Green match would no doubt yield some impactful spots.

Charlotte Flair has also been teasing an imminent return — an old guard vs new school battle of the Smackdown blondes would certainly be a pay-per-view-worthy match. Regardless of who Stratton’s challengers are, though, here’s hoping there’s a lot of them — though Jax’s title reign was decidedly dominant (thanks mostly to Jax’s rock-solid promo and in-ring work) her booking felt sparse in the final weeks of her reign, and more weekly televised title defenses are never a bad thing.
The most exciting thing about Stratton’s win, though? Rumors of a custom belt with a pink strap to match her now-defunct pink Money in the Bank Briefcase.
