The long-awaited Taylor Swift Eras Tour Premiere was a complete spectacle. Its grand premiere at The Grove’s AMC Theatre, where Taylor Swift expressed her gratitude and excitement to fans, stating, “The success of this tour has everything to do with your passion and enthusiasm for the shows.”
Swift dazzled everyone at the world premiere of the Eras Tour concert film on Wednesday. Making an early entrance, she took the time to snap pictures with her crew and director, Sam Wrench. Eager fans gathered in large numbers at the theater, sharing tokens of friendship and joyfully singing Swift’s chartbusters. Taylor did not disappoint, stopping to engage with many for selfies. Notable attendees included Rachel Zegler, Maren Morris, Simu Liu, Julia Garner, Mariska Hargitay, Adam Sandler, and Swift’s parents, Andrea and Scott. In a surprise twist, Beyoncé, set to release her concert film Renaissance soon, joined Swift, making a memorable appearance.
Later on, Swift took to Instagram to share a candid moment with Beyoncé at the premiere. She expressed her admiration for Beyoncé, stating, “She’s influenced my journey in unimaginable ways. Her fearless approach to the industry and her immense strength and grace have always guided me.”
Before the film screening commenced, Swift addressed her fans in each of the 13 theaters, emphasizing their central role in the film’s narrative. “Your love and energy for the tour have made it what it is. In the film, you’ll see just how much you mean to the whole experience,” she shared.

The premiere caused quite the stir in L.A. The Grove, a famous shopping destination, announced its temporary shutdown for the event via social media. Additional security measures, including a broader police presence, were evident, and nearby roads were closed off. Meanwhile, The Original Farmers Market, close to The Grove, continued its operations, entertaining its customers with Swift’s melodies.

Eras Tour is set to be showcased in over 8,000 theaters globally this Friday, exclusively distributed by AMC Theatres. This film is a tribute to Swift’s monumental Eras Tour which started in March and features a repertoire of 44 songs from her illustrious career. The movie, at two hours and 48 minutes, is a tad shorter than her live concerts. Swift also revealed a preponed screening date for North America and Canada, starting Thursday evening.
Industry experts predict the “Eras Tour” to make a historic debut, potentially grossing between $150 million to $200 million globally, bolstered by advanced ticket sales that surpassed $100 million even before the film’s release.
