Lili Reinhart brought sleek, lingerie-inspired edge to the Happy Hours premiere, and she did not miss.

Lili Reinhart understood the assignment. Arriving for the premiere of Happy Hours at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City, the actress turned the carpet into her own private runway in a black corset dress that was equal parts old-school lingerie and downtown cool. If you blinked, you missed her, because she breezed through with the easy, head-high confidence of someone who knows the look is working.

And work it did. The dress is the whole story here: a body-skimming, knee-length number built around a structured corset bodice, complete with delicate lace-trimmed cups, a column of tiny center-front buttons, and lace-up panels cinched with gleaming silver hardware and buckles down the sides. It is the kind of intricate, slightly subversive detailing that rewards a second look, the boning and eyelets nodding to corsetry while the matte black fabric keeps everything sleek and modern. The fitted pencil silhouette hugs her frame and skims to just below the knee, showing off her toned legs and an enviably runway-ready figure.

The Forbidden Fruits actress kept the styling sharp and minimal so the dress could do the talking. Tiny black cat-eye sunglasses gave the whole thing a cheeky, retro-cool attitude, while her blonde hair was swept up into a soft, piecey topknot with a few face-framing tendrils left loose. A barely-there pair of black strappy stiletto sandals elongated her legs even further, and a small structured black handbag with gold hardware finished the look without competing with it. A tiny tattoo reading “DIVINE” peeked out on her arm, a fitting little detail for the moment.

The premiere marks another step in Reinhart’s post-Riverdale chapter, as the actress continues to lean into more grown-up, indie-leaning projects on the festival circuit. Tribeca has long been a launchpad for exactly this kind of buzzy, character-driven film, and Lili looked every bit the part of a leading lady ready for her next act.

Whether she was caught mid-stride on the sunlit carpet or breezing past the marquee lights after dark, Lili Reinhart proved she has a real eye for the kind of fashion risk that pays off. Bold, polished, and just a little bit dangerous, this was one of her sharpest red carpet showings yet.
