Zendaya Wears a Vintage Spider-Man Tee as a Mini Dress at the Paris Photocall

Of course, it’s very Zendaya to roll up to a major Marvel photocall in what looks like the comfiest thing in her closet and still walk away with the best look in the room. At the Spider-Man: Brand New Day photocall at UGC Ciné Cité Bercy in Paris on June 24, 2026, the actress skipped the expected red-carpet armor and instead made a vintage black Spider-Man graphic tee the entire outfit, worn as a slouchy mini dress that grazed mid-thigh.

And what a choice it was. The oversized tee, soft and beautifully faded the way only a genuine vintage piece can be, hung in that perfectly undone way, its faded red web-slinging graphic splashed across the front like a nod to the very franchise she was there to promote. The drop-shoulder seams and roomy cut kept things relaxed up top, which only made the payoff below more dramatic: yards of toned, runway-ready leg, finished with crisp white Christian Louboutin pumps. Those signature red soles flashed with every step, a sly pop of color against the deep blue carpet.

A vintage tee, sky-high pumps, and legs for days: Zendaya makes effortless look like a flex

The styling was all in the contrast. Where the tee said laid-back, the pointed-toe stilettos said showstopper, and Zendaya, ever the master of high-low, split the difference with glittering chandelier earrings, a sleek silver watch, and a tousled, curly crop that framed her glowing, softly bronzed makeup. Dark polished nails added one last cool-girl detail. It is the kind of look that seems thrown together but is, of course, anything but.

The Paris stop is part of the global press push for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the latest chapter in the web-slinger saga, which opens in France on July 29 (le 29 juillet, per the photocall backdrop). Zendaya, who returns as Michelle “MJ” Jones, has spent years proving she can wear literally anything, from Bob Mackie archival glamour to method-dressing red-carpet concepts, and somehow a $40-looking graphic tee fits right into that résumé.

If anyone needed a reminder that Zendaya can make the simplest thing on earth feel like an event, this was it. Sometimes the boldest fashion statement is the one that looks like you barely tried.
