Lois Lane has never looked so radiant.

Rachel Brosnahan lit up the Superman premiere in Rio de Janeiro on Monday, turning heads in a show-stopping Zuhair Murad gown that looked like it stepped straight out of a 1920s fantasy. The Emmy-winning star of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is taking on the iconic role of Lois Lane in James Gunn’s upcoming Superman film, and if this red carpet appearance is any indication, she’s bringing both brains and bombshell energy to the role.

Brosnahan opted for a bold archival look from Zuhair Murad’s fall 2013 couture collection, embracing old Hollywood elegance with a modern twist. The midnight blue gown featured exquisite Art Deco embroidery throughout, with angular latticework and sinuous circular patterns dancing across the fabric. A plunging neckline emphasized Brosnahan’s hourglass silhouette, while a drop-waist cut and flowing skirt brought movement and drama to the ensemble. Every inch of the dress shimmered under the lights — though some fans noted that the premiere’s lighting setup didn’t quite capture the full brilliance of the piece.

Still, Brosnahan’s presence was impossible to ignore. With her sleek, pulled-back hair and classic makeup, she let the gown do all the talking — and it delivered. This isn’t the first time the actress has leaned into daring couture on the carpet, and it likely won’t be the last. If anything, this look reaffirms what her fans already know: Rachel Brosnahan doesn’t just play fearless women on screen — she embodies them.

Alongside co-stars David Corenswet (who dons the cape as Superman) and Nicholas Hoult (set to portray Lex Luthor), Brosnahan is helping usher in a bold new era for DC’s most iconic hero. And judging by this jaw-dropping premiere moment, Lois Lane is ready to steal every scene — and every spotlight.
