Madelaine Petsch Turns Up the Heat in Leather at ‘Find Your Friends’ LA Premiere

Madelaine Petsch proved she’s still pop culture’s reigning redhead with a head-to-toe leather look that owned the red carpet.

Madelaine Petsch stepped onto the carpet for the special LA screening of Find Your Friends (starring fellow redhead Bella Thorne) and did exactly what she’s been doing since her Riverdale days: pulling every camera in the room toward her with a single, confident pose.

This time, the styling did a lot of the talking. Petsch arrived in a sleek black leather vest that zipped up the front, cut sleeveless with a sharp, cropped hem that nodded to her edgier red carpet era. She paired it with a fitted black pencil skirt and knee-high leather stiletto boots, leaning all the way into a monochrome, all-leather statement that read more rock-and-roll than rom-com. It’s a look that suits the moment. After establishing herself as a bona fide scream queen through the relaunched The Strangers trilogy, Petsch has been steadily trading Cheryl Blossom’s prep-school polish for something sharper and more grown-up, and the carpet has become her runway for showing it off.

The accessories sealed it. Thick silver metallic cuffs and stacked rings added a cool, industrial contrast to the soft glow of her makeup, while her perfect signature red waves fell loose over her pale milky white shoulders. If the goal was to make the screening feel like an arrival, mission accomplished.

For fans who’ve followed her since 2017, it’s a familiar thrill. Petsch has always understood that a premiere is half about the film and half about the show you put on getting there, and few of her Riverdale contemporaries have made the leap into adult genre stardom with this much style intact. She remains close with former castmates Lili Reinhart and Camila Mendes, a trio that came up together and never let Hollywood turn them competitive, and that grounded confidence tends to radiate right off the carpet.

Between her horror bona fides (The Strangers, American Horror Story), her loyal fan base, and a fashion sensibility that keeps getting bolder, Petsch isn’t slowing down anytime soon. And if this leather-clad appearance is any indication, she’s having a very good time being one of the most watchable redheads in the business. Consider the spotlight officially claimed.
