Proceed with caution: there’s a baby Uso on the way. After 7 long years fighting tooth and nail to earn another singles title, Naomi is relinquishing her WWE Women’s World Championship after just weeks with the belt – and for good reason. As she announced on last week’s Monday Night Raw, the (former) champ is pregnant, following an extensive, decades-long fertility battle chronicled on the likes of Total Divas.
Though Naomi’s incredible news is a joyful revelation for the woman behind the wrestler, the unfortunate reality of the situation also means the newly minted champ has to relinquish her Women’s World Championship, leaving it on the “slim jim” mat to an unknown fate. With the Caution Queen officially out of action, the field is now wide open for the rest of the Raw women’s division to stake their claim on the gold, and there are more than a few women ready and willing to take the title.
Stephanie Vaquer

From the second she and her gem-encrusted horns set foot in WWE, Stephanie Vaquer has been an undeniable star. Following a short but dominant stint as a double champion in NXT, La Primera was drafted to Raw, solidifying herself as a fan-favorite with her signature “devil’s kiss” and earning herself a world title shot at Clash in Paris after winning a battle royale at Evolution 2.
Prior to Naomi’s bombshell announcement, Vaquer was next in line for a title shot at the Women’s World Championship, and though her would-be opponent is out of action, Stephanie “Velcro” (as the now-absent champ called her) has made it clear she still intends to challenge for the world title in Paris.
Rhea Ripley

When it comes to the WWE women’s roster in 2025, it’s impossible to talk titles without talking about Rhea Ripley, who has spent the better part of the decade at the top of the food chain, dominating both the Raw and SmackDown women’s divisions.
Though she hasn’t seen championship gold since dropping the women’s world championship to Iyo Sky back in March, Ripley has been on a constant quest to reclaim what she considers “her” title, regardless of who holds it’s held by. While chances were good that Naomi would’ve defended against Rhea at some point during her reign, the arrival of Baby Uso may have moved the timetable up for Rhea to once again hold gold.
IYO SKY

Admittedly, the dust is still settling on her most recent world title reign (which Naomi ended via cash-in at Evolution 2), but if WWE is looking for a surefire champion to keep the women’s world title in good hands until Naomi’s return, they could certainly do worse than IYO SKY.
Having lost her belt to Naomi, there would be a symmetry to IYO reclaiming the title in her absence, and there’s no denying that “the genius of the sky” is one of the best technical wrestlers on WWE’s roster, male or female. The only thing standing in the way of IYO and the world title seems to be, of all people, Asuka – backstage segments have been teasing a rift between the former Damage CTRL faction members that could prove critical in the coming weeks.
Roxanne Perez

Another member of the women’s locker room having a stellar 2025 is Roxanne Perez, who oh-so-seamlessly slotted into the spot vacated by Liv Morgan, who had to relinquish her half of the women’s tag titles following an injury in June. Flourishing as both a tag champion and a newly minted member of the Judgment Day, Perez is living up to her moniker as the “prodigy” of WWE, and a stint with the Women’s World Championship would be the ultimate feather in the cap of the two-time NXT champion.
Bayley (Wildcard)

Last but certainly not least is Bayley, who continues to prove herself the wildcard of WWE’s women’s division. Despite being one of the most undeniably tenured and decorated women on the roster, Bayley’s 2025 has been marked by a distinct lack of hardware, coming up short against both Women’s Intercontinental Champions Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch.
In the wake of an unfortunate losing streak, Bayley’s most recent vignettes on Raw have hinted at a new gimmick or possible heel turn for the role model who hasn’t held singles gold in WWE since 2024. Though signs point to Bayley having her sights set on the Intercontinental Championship and a feud with fellow horsewoman Becky Lynch, a swerve to capture the Women’s World Championship would be an undeniable (and well-deserved) triumph for the Grand Slam champion.
