For Kristen Stewart, Love Lies Bleeding
Kristen Stewart is all set to star in the upcoming film Love Lies Bleeding, opposite Katy O’Brien. In the film, she plays a recluse gym manager named Lou, who falls for O’Brien’s Jackie, a bodybuilder with big goals and dreams. The two of them get entangled in a series of criminal activities related to Lou’s family.
Stewart has made a name for herself outside of the Twilight franchise by starring in several more grounded and serious films that highlighted her authentic performance. It’s no surprise then that the plot of this movie and its entire vibe would attract a star like her to play a lead role. Fans can expect to see O’Brien and Stewart get steamy in the film all about violence, crime, and love.
Love Lies Bleeding premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, where it received rave reviews and a standing ovation. It will be released in theaters on March 8, 2024, in the US and on April 19, 2024, in the UK.
